Adrian L. “Chip” Wood, III was born and raised in Corinth. After graduation from Corinth High School in 1985, he immediately enlisted with the US Navy as a submariner. After 8 years serving in the Navy, Chip attended Northeast MS Community College and the University of North Alabama majoring in Business Administration and Marketing. After the tragic events of 2001, Chip again enlisted with the US Air Force and US Navy Seabees and served a tour in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Chip now serves as the Director of Operations & Human Resources for J&A, Inc. in Corinth.
Chip has been married to his wife Wendy since 1996. Wendy works with the First Baptist kindergarten classes. They have 3 daughters, Hollie, a Senior and Emme, a Freshman who are attending the University of Mississippi and Hanley a Freshman at Corinth High School.
