strives to continue to provide the highest quality healthcare to those in our community and the surrounding communities that we serve. MRHC has a rich history in Corinth, beginning as Magnolia Hospital in 1965. Since that time, renovation and upgrading of the facility and equipment has evolved into the healthcare organization we are today. Magnolia Regional Health Center is a fully accredited 200-bed acute care hospital with a medical staff practicing over 27 medical specialties. The MRHC team is compiled of a staff of over 1,200 employees and we are proud to be the leading employer in Corinth and Alcorn County.  MRHC is a community hospital jointly owned by the City of Corinth and Alcorn County that is dedicated to providing service excellence, accompanied by the use of state-of-the art technology and top notch facilities.

In 2007, MRHC added 3 new patient floors, 12 SICU rooms, 16 private short stay surgery rooms, 8 private pre & post heart cath rooms, 10 surgery recovery positions, 3 operating rooms (including open heart, vascular and orthopaedics), cardiac rehabilitation area and 6 medical office suites. Additionally, the Magnolia Regional Heart & Vascular Center was opened that same year, offering cardiac intervention and open-heart surgery.

In 2013, MRHC opened its newly constructed 53,000 square feet addition on the south side of the main patient tower that includes a new front entrance, new Emergency Department, new preadmission testing area, new Radiology Department, new central registration area, new Women’s Imaging Center and new cardiology area. Included in this new construction was an upgrade to our Radiology Department equipment including:

  • Three 128 slice CT
  • 1.5 large bore MRI with ambient lighting_item]
  • Two Spec CT nuclear cameras
  • Stereotactic biopsy
  • Digital Mammography with ambient lighting

Our new Emergency Department includes up to 6 additional ER beds which are designed to expand to 36 beds total if needed in possible disasters. The three ED trauma rooms have expanded to handle up to 6 traumas at one time.

Some of the other services that MRHC is proud to provide are radiation oncology (including IMRT and IGRT) and medical oncology offered at The Cancer Center at Magnolia; women’s health services at the Magnolia Women’s Center; Magnolia Cardiology Associates; Magnolia Corinth ENT Clinic; Magnolia Specialty Clinic; including neurology, urology and internal medicine services, Magnolia Community Care Clinic which is our Osteopathic Medical Resident Program Clinic and our newest service, the MRHC Orthopaedic Center.

Magnolia Regional Health Center continues to offer numerous community education and events allowing us the opportunity to show gratitude to our community for its continued support throughout the year.  Magnolia Regional Health Center is a tobacco free campus in conjunction with an overall health and wellness initiative focused on making Corinth and Alcorn County a healthier place to live and work.
